Day 1: MACHAME GATE 1.800m to MACHAME CAMP 2,835m
We’ll start our journey with a pick-up at the hotel/airport and short debrief, checking all gear. Then we’ll drive from Moshi to the Machame Gate (45min.). Start the hike through the rainforest. The trek takes 5-6 hrs to Machame Camp at the forest to moorland transition.
